Private copying compensation is a statutory fee for products that can be used for private copying, such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, and storage media.
Companies that manufacture, import, or sell such products in Sweden may need to sign an agreement with Copyswede and report relevant products. For mobile phones, the fee according to Copyswede’s tariff is SEK 1 per GB, up to a maximum of SEK 75 per device.
