A key component of any product ad is the image, which is often the first impression a customer gets when clicking on a product. As we all know, first impressions matter, and compelling product images significantly contribute to sales performance.
To ensure consistency and quality, please adhere to the following image requirements:
Image Specifications:
- Minimum resolution: 600 x 600 pixels. Images below this resolution will be automatically rejected.
- Background: All product images must have a white or transparent background.
- Restrictions: Images must not contain watermarks, logos, URLs, borders, or any kind of text.
- Image quality: Photos should be clear, well-lit, and professional. Avoid blurry images, poor lighting (overexposure, underexposure, or flash reflections), and amateur photography.
- Supported formats: PNG and JPEG only.
- Product accuracy: The image must accurately represent the actual product being sold. Variations in color, pattern, or material are not permitted.
- Visibility: The product should be clearly displayed and fully visible. If relevant, an image of the product outside its packaging should also be included.
- Bundled products: If multiple items are sold as a package, all items must be visible in the image. If a multi-pack of identical items is sold, the image should show a single unit.
- Framing: The product should occupy 75–90% of the image frame.
- Use of illustrations: Generic images, graphics, or illustrations are not permitted unless the product falls under the “Hardware” or “Vehicles and Parts” categories.
- Copyright compliance: As a merchant, you must either own the copyright to the images used or have explicit rights to use them for commercial purposes.
